The WHS Latin Club is spearheading a service project aimed at providing a gift basket to members of the Wayside Youth & Family Support Network. They provide emergency shelter for homeless teens on a short-term basis. There are five individuals currently at the shelter.

We believe reaching out to kids our age is relatable to many of us.  It also reminds us of how privileged we are, and to be grateful every single day. A small contribution from our side, though not life changing, would make a huge difference for them. These teens are introverted and are fighting their own personal demons. A small gesture of this sort would brighten their day a little, giving them comfort and reminding them that the world still cares!
