Despite the setbacks with this year’s MassJCL convention, we are sending a group of 12 students to the convention at Duxbury High School on April 29th for the day. For some of us, this is our last convention before we go off to college, while for others this is our first. We were informed that we are currently in a close first place, with Boston Latin School close behind, so this convention will be the decider for the year. We have plans to enter in for competitive certamen, dramatic interpretation, graphic arts, and several of the olympika event, in addition to the yearlong newsletter and website competitions.
